User 1: Post Game Freeze Issue Battlefield 5

After nearly every online match, during the post-game statistics, when I either hit continue or even wait for the countdown the game freezes. I am unable to go onto the next match. I have to shut down the app and restart it every time. Anyone else having this issue?

User 2: BF5 Frozen on the multiplayer loading screen

Hey guys, I’m having a problem where I get stuck on the multiplayer loading screen. I’m able to play 1 game and then when I get to the loading screen for the 2nd game it shows the previous map that I played on the loading screen and then I’m just stuck and it never loads me in. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Like the above two, there are many Xbox One gamer who are facing these issue with Battlefield V. Let follow the below steps to fix these issues.

Common Bugs & Fixes

An issue with War story rewards unlocks

You earn melee weapon or tank skin when you complete a War Story. You obviously finish all challenges and collect all letters. It is seen sometimes that War Stories menu does not match breakdown you see in Acts or Letters. For example, you see 6/6 letters in Overview but 3/6 under the letters. Now when it does not match. you don’t receive the reward.

  1. From Home, select My Games & Apps.
  2. Highlight Battlefield V and press the Menu button on your controller.
  3. Select Manage game and add-ons.
  4. Scroll down to Saved Data.
  5. Highlight the saved data for your Gamertag and press the A button on your controller.
  6. When you’re asked to confirm, choose Delete Everywhere to remove your game data from the cloud, your console and any other console you play on.
  7. Launch Battlefield V and play the War Story again – making sure to catch the “missing” letters and challenges this time.
Once there are no gaps in the record you should get your reward.

On the Network settings screen, in the center column under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.

NAT is type 1 (open)– This means you can connect to any NAT type. If you have this option selected that means you will get the best online experience
NAT is type 2 (moderate)– You can only connect to other players who have NAT types 2 or 1. This may result in voice communications issue and slow matchmaking period.
NAT is type 3 (strict)– you can only connect to players who have NAT type 1. This results in very limited voice communication and long wait time in matchmaking.
So opting for NAT 1 will be a good idea to play Battlefield V.

2) Reset and keep my games & apps: Try this step first so that you don’t lose anything.
3) Cancel: To deny Reset and go back.
Once done with factory default launch Battlefield V.
