Fix Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies Crashing, Freezing, Errors and Connection Issue

Troubleshooting Guide to Fix Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies (CSN:Z) Crashing, Freezing, Errors, Download Issue, Connection Issue, and Many Other Issues with the Game.

Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies Crashing Without An Error Message

Ensure you are logged in to the Windows using the administrative account. Also, make sure to run CSN:Z as an administrator.

Fix OpenGL Errors, Crashing, Low FPS with Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies

Update the Graphics driver.

Go to the Video Options in the game and try to lower the game resolution setting.

Use the dedicated Graphics such as Nvidia or AMD instead of onboard graphics, in a laptop, most of the time game picks the onboard graphics. To fix this do the following:

  • Open Nvidia Control Panel by making a right-click on the desktop.
  • Select Manage 3D Settings and go to the Program Settings and select Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies from the drop-down list. (If you don’t see the game in the list click on Add and find the game in the list, you may also have to click on Browse and find the game)
  • After selecting the game, set preferred graphics processor to High performance Nvidia processor and go below to find Power Management set it to Prefer Maximum Power.

AMD users

  • Open Radeon Settings. Make a right-click on an empty space on the desktop and select AMD Radeon Settings from the menu.
  • Select System 
  • Select Switchable Graphics, under Switchable Graphics, select the game (if it is not in the list you can add it by using the Browse option and select the .exe-file of the game) Select High Performance for the game from the drop-down option.
  • Click Apply
  • Close Radeon Settings and launch Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies.

You can also disable the onboard graphics from System BIOS:

  • Start your PC and immediately keep tapping F2 or  F10 to go to the BIOS settings.
  • Change the Graphics settings from dynamic to Fixed.

Perform a Clean Boot

  • Performing a clean boot can fix many performance issues with Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies game.
  • Type MSCONFIG in the Windows Search Box and click on the System Configuration pop up.
  • Go to the Services tab and then put a check on the Hide All Microsoft Services box and click on Disable All and hit Apply.
  • Now go to the Startup tab and then select all apps one by one and disable all.
  • Restart your PC and launch CSN:Z.

Fix Hack Sensor Error It is not defined/Failed to start the driver for hack blocking/Can not connect to the server/Hack Sensor – Memory change is detected in the protection module

  • Run Steam and the CSN:Z as an administrator, Make a right-click on CSN:Z desktop shortcut. You can also find CSN:Z exe file in the game installation folder.  Make a right-click on the game exe, select Properties, click on the Compatibility tab and check the box at the bottom under settings where it says Run this Program as an administrator and Click Apply and OK.
  • Close all the background apps while playing the game. If you have any anti-virus, anti-malware, or firewall programs running in the background, try to disable them while playing the game, close Steam, relaunch Steam, and launch CSN:Z again.

Fix Connection/Lagging Issues with Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies

Make sure all firewalls is not blocking the UDP ports show below:

8001 ~ 8020
40000 ~ 40200

Allow the game in Windows firewall, disable your antivirus program while playing  Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies.

Run Flush DNS, Release/Renew command:

  • Type cmd in Windows search box, make a right-click on command prompt and click on Run as administrator.
  • Type ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt window and hit Enter
  • Type ipconfig /release in the command prompt window and hit Enter.
  • Now type in ipconfig /renew in the command prompt windows and hit Enter.
  • Close the command prompt windows and launch the game.

Make sure WiFi is connected, use wired ethernet connection if possible, the ethernet connection avoid internet speed fluctuations and provides stability.

Fix Error “Game requires Steam” with Counter-Strike Nexon Zombies

  • Make sure you run the game from Steam client only.
  • Run Steam as administrator.

Fix Error Connection to the Server Has Been Terminated

  • Run Steam and the CSN:Z as an administrator, Make a right-click on CSN:Z desktop shortcut. You can also find CSN:Z exe file in the game installation folder.  Make a right-click on the game exe, select Properties, click on the Compatibility tab and check the box at the bottom under settings where it says Run this Program as an administrator and Click Apply and OK.
